Transformations- Translations

When looking at the two figures i know that the transformed one is the figure in which the letters that represent the vertices's have a comma after the letter. For example A', B', C',D'.
The new points are called primes. The kind of words you can use to describe a translation are; A copy of a figure, or a sliding. A translated figure will NEVER change in size or shape because it is only sliding up, down, left, or right. You can translate a figure without a coordinate plane by subtracting the x or y axis by the coordinate points, depending on the location the figure is translating.
